Getting Here

Since you're flying in internationally, you'll likely connect through Manila (MNL). Boracay doesn't have its own large airport, so from Manila, here's the easiest way to reach the island:

• The island flight: We highly recommend booking your short domestic flight into Caticlan Airport (MPH).
• The transfer: From Caticlan, it's a quick 10-minute drive to the port, a scenic 15-minute boat ride, and a short e-trike ride to your hotel.
• Pro tip: Book an "all-in-one" transfer service ahead of time (either through your hotel or an island transfer service). They handle the van, boat, and trike fees all together so you don't have to figure it out while jet-lagged!

Visas & Arrival

• Visas: Great news! Most foreign passports allow you to enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days. (Be sure to quickly double-check your specific country's requirements online just in case!)
• eTravel form: You must fill out the official Philippine eTravel form online within 72 hours before your flight arrives. They no longer use paper arrival cards!

Currency & Keeping Cash Handy

While major hotels and restaurants accept international credit cards, cash is still king on the island. You will need Philippine Pesos (PHP) for tricycles, local vendors, and small fees.

Tip: ATMs on the island can sometimes run out of cash on busy weekends. We recommend withdrawing pesos at an ATM in the Manila airport during your layover before flying to Caticlan.

Island Rules & Etiquette

Boracay is a protected eco-paradise, and strict rules are enforced to keep it pristine:

• No drinking alcohol or smoking on the actual white sand beach (save it for the bars and restaurants!).
• Single-use plastics are banned.
• Please don't litter!

Fun Things to Do

Once you've slept off the jet lag and when we aren't celebrating together, we hope you get out and explore!

• Paraw sailing: Taking a traditional outrigger sailboat ride right at sunset.
• Island hopping: Renting a boat to explore neighboring beaches and snorkeling spots.
• Water sports: Trying out paddleboarding, kite surfing, or scuba diving.
